The red shapes came by using a drawing app that makes shapes from lines that turn back on themselves. I wanted something less smooth, less tame. Drawing a horizon line with a mouse in my old photoshop CS3, I knew I had now a good start. Seeing that the red shapes could be both fish and birds, I followed the drawing as if it were my mind dreaming into seeing.
