I filtered and then repeatedly mirrored a photo of a young sassafras tree growing in front of an old oak tree. I love the way filtered sunlight plays on the bark of trees, and decided to work with the leaves, trunk, and limbs of these trees to created a lattice through which one can view the beauty of summer.
