"Waking To My Reality" is a map of my evolving life experience as I release myself from past trauma. The numbers eleven and one signify my birth and the two sticks of dynamite that were ever-present in my childhood. Now I live in the night sky where I feel more peace and love exists. I use a mix of shapes to convey otherworldly beings. Introducing gold leaf, a new medium for me, conveys the gift of looking within. The significance of light and dark colors speaks to my learning to surrender to both energies as they guide me toward unconditional self-love. The shapes, colors, and dimensional layers signify beings that represent my hope for humanity’s possibilities.
